Gnome Applets
I've written a couple of Gnome 1.x applets, both of which are more or less replacements for applets included in gnome-core. They're both written in Python, an object-oriented interpreted language. Please bear in mind that these are applets for GNOME 1.x and will not work with GNOME 2.x. There are better equivalents for both of these included in GNOME 2.x, so I haven't been inclined to update them.
Finder.py
Finder.py is a Gnome applet that acts like the window menu on MacOS. If you don't like the Gnome taskbar, this could be for you.
Web-multi.py
Web-multi.py is a replacement for the standard web-control applet. It fits on small panels, unlike the standard web-control applet, lets you make Google searches from your panel, and is tuned for convenience of use in several ways.
